Heaths are acid loving plants which range in size from low ground covers to small trees up to 20 feet tall. All have small numerous evergreen needlelike leaves. They like full sun to partial shade. Their flowers in summer range from rose to white. Autumn color is bronze to orange. Heaths are native to western Europe. All parts of the plant are considered poisonous.
